FAQ

The duration of the hair transplant treatment can vary depending on the number of grafts (grouping of hair roots) and the method chosen. On average, a hair transplant takes 6 to 9 hours.

The hair roots (follicles) that are implanted in the balding area are grafts (transplants) taken from a hair-rich area of your own scalp. It is not possible to implant a hair follicle from another person. The grafts are usually taken from the back of the head and above the ears.

FUE, Follicular Unit Extraction, is one of the most well-known and chosen hair transplant techniques. After all the client's scalp hair is shortened to 3 millimeters, the donor area is made numb by administering a local anesthetic. The grafts are loosened with a specific device, a FUE motor, and collected with a tweezer-like instrument. The channels where the roots are implanted are opened with a scoop and pin-like instrument. The collected grafts contained some tissue particles. These tissue fragments are removed and the neat follicles are placed into the ducts. Finally, the donor area is covered with bandages

Hair transplants are not seasonal. It is necessary to shield the implanted area from direct sunlight, especially in the summer months. Swimming and sweating are also not an option for a certain period of time.

The number of hair follicles required varies depending on the size and condition of the intended balding area. the most effective way to discover how many hair follicles you need will be determined by our team of hair experts.

YES! Hair transplantation is a process of permanent hair regrowth of balding areas. DHT hormones are the main cause of hair loss, especially in men. DHT hormones accumulate in the hair follicles when secreted in excess and inhibit the nourishment of the hair roots. This process is the basis of hair loss. It is the main reason why the donor area is almost always located at the back of the head, as the hair follicles in that area are insensitive to the DHT hormone. After adapting to their new location, the innovation is retained and you will have permanent hair for the rest of your life, provided that you comply with the aftercare program of course!
